FIG TART ALMONDINE

The fig season is near to be finished, then today I wanted to try a fig tart very easy to prepare. A recipe from French Chef Enguehard.

For 4 persons :
- 1 puff pastry
- 100 gr mascarpone cheese (I guess we can also use butter like in a traditional almond cream, or even another cream cheese like Philadelphia)
- 100 gr ground almond powder
- 40 gr icing sugar
- 1 tsp corn starch
- 1 egg yolk
- 12 figs

Blend the mascarpone with the ground almond powder, the sugar, the corn starch and the yolk. Put this mixture down on the puff pastry avoiding the outline to allow the pastry to raise in the oven. Then, cut the figs in 4 and put them over the previous mixture.
Put in a preheated oven for about 15 minutes and that's it.
